Terms and conditions. Updated 23rd May 2018 We have endeavoured to make the following terms and conditions as straight forward as possible. Please ensure that you take time to read them carefully before entering into a contract with Class Act Performing Arts School. .
Payment of Fees and attendance A free trial and any discount of fees payable is only offered at the discretion of the owner Mrs Claire Land. Any sibling offer made will not be included alongside a free lesson trial offer. All pupils must attend classes on a weekly basis. Fees must be paid in cash, at the start of the day. We are unable to accept payment at the end of classes. We will accept advance payments if this is more convenient to any parent/guardian. If you wish to use this method of payment, please consult Mrs Claire Land. All absences from class/classes should be reported as soon as possible. A total of 8 missed weekly classes without payment of fees will be allowed during a 12-month period, after which parents/guardians will be charged for all missed classes. This figure to include absences for holidays, illness and other leisure pursuits. Should your child be absent whilst attending an audition, please inform Mrs Land in advance as an exception may be made to this rule. Following registration, it is important all parents/guardians leave their child/young adult with the Class Act teachers/support staff. Parents/guardians are not permitted to sit in or attend lessons. Bullying Bullying of any kind is unacceptable at our school and will not be tolerated. Class Act has an anti-bullying Policy which can be viewed on the notice board at the venue entrance. Class Act have the right to remove any student from class if the student is putting the health and safety of other students or staff at risk. We reserve the right in this instance, to permanently exclude students. Personal Belongings We ask that you as a parent/guardian ensure that your child's personal belongings remain at home. Class Act cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings brought into the school. If for any reason your child needs to carry money with them, this should be left with a member of staff or at reception for safe keeping. Class Act cannot be held responsible for any loss of money whilst attending the school. Photographs Class Act Performing Arts School reserves the right to use any individual or group photographs and films, for press or promotional purposes.You are within your rights to deny permission for this action and ask that you specifically make staff aware of your decision prior to signing our application form, or if you wish to make an alteration to your already provided permission. Any complaints must be brought to the attention of Mrs Land immediately, so she may work with you to rectify any issues. Any attempt to maliciously damage the reputation of Class Act Performing Art School, without bringing your complaint to the attention of Mrs Land in the first instance, will be legally pursued. This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
